Dear All,
I know many of the functionaries of the KSSP, who believe and who would
rather make others too believe that parishat activities are about
conscientization and nothing more or less.
If I were a parishat person, and still be someone who would suggest to
critically examine the parishat priorities on the theme/contents of some
10000+ science classes;
the curious gaps between what is preached and what is practised
notwithstanding, imagine the natural way one is likely to be dismissed by
the official spokespersons of the parishad-
which could be something like this:
Imagining yourselves as agents of social revolution/change is not at all
anything even remotely connected to the parishathic dream of human
capabilities. On the contrary, your failure to defend, to serve, and to
protect the status-quo means that you are anything but a true *
parishathikan*...that means you are immediately caught and named as a
naxalite or whatever. you are no more wanted anywhere in the *
Parishathic scheme* of *progressive* ideals.
This state of affairs is not to be mistaken or reduced merely as
a permanently subservient attitude toward the CPM leadership. On the
contrary, *serving the status quo* *is the core* theme of the day to day
activities of the KSSP.
This is well examplified by the unilateral stress to conscientization and
rejection of any idea of action for change.
Thanx.
