I feel the integration of different systems is absurd

as we knw the diferent systems of medicine
has different basics
like thridosha sidantha in ayurveda
like kills like in homeopathy etc

the advocates of diferent systems say
each one is scientific
so if thr has to be some integration
thr has to be some agreement in the basics
at least in the academic discusions among
the diferent systems
which i never have seen

but on the other hand
we knw that treatment modalities
of many systems hav effects

but these efects also canot
be quantified or qualified in mutualy agreeable way
jst because the diferent systems
do not agree even in the methodology
of such quantifications(eg randomised controll study)

again on the other hand
if we see how modern medice grew
it actualy grew from
diferent indegenious systems

once we rationalise, quantify and qualify
any medicine and subject the same
for peer group interogation
it becomes the part of modern medicine

even all the drugs used in modern medicine
also dont have so much of objectivity
to the level that in which receptors the drug act

so if we say that integration is
rationalising, quantifying and qualifying
a treatment modality or drug

i would rather say that as
modern medcinisation of
other systems of medicine
which would invariably hapen

wont it be the killing of
indegenious systems

so
i think integration of diferent
systems of medicine is
realy absurd

availabale from the media that the proposed medicakl varsity is
entirely for the Alopathy medical instistutions in Kerala .Is it
correct? It is a just thought that all the medical education including
the Indian System of medicines are also be included in the proposed
univesity.Equal impotance should be given to all branches of medical
sciences.I think KSSP will not have a bias towards the Alopathic
medicine.THe term modern medicine is also confusing .This term is now
used for referring the alopathic system alone.I think the main driving
force behind the modern medine is the wide spread use of science anf
techonology for diagnostic purposes which can not be taken as granted
as the preprietory right or achievement of Alopathy.The Indian system
of medicine including Ayurveda can also use these technological
advancement for diagonostic puposes.There shoukd be mind change
towards this.So all the medical inststution in Kerala shoild bring
under the proposed medical university.Am I right?.It is the need of
the hour to think of a integrated medical sytem incorporating all good
aspects of all the branches of medicines ie that there should be
SECULAR system of medine.....Dont think that I am an anti Alopathy
man..Scientific thinking can accomodate all the branches of
medicines....
