y do v compare the quality of our school education with other states in
india. may i kindly disagree with some of the comparisons. kerala has
achieved universality in school eduction. but in providing quality education
v r far behind. and pl leave other states. pl think of international
schools. let our next generation to compete in international level because
they have to live in a world ...

   - where v dream smart city will bring jobs, economy and many more
   - where no problem with malayalam fonts
   - where all have good health with out considering alopothy or homeo or
   ayurveda or ....

v implemented the new curriculum approach through dpep. v, the keralites
take the initiative. v spend a lot of energy in debating, criticising,
attacking and sabotaging. now cbse has implemented many of the findings of
the new approach in their schools, but there is no debates or criticisms. in
kerala or any other states, they r keeping quality. even if v protest, it is
the truth. im not arguing for cbse. but our quality in education is to be
improved.

the school timing is for 6 hours among which 1 hour is lunch break. among
this 6 hours, students are actually wasting half of the time for nothing to
do or nobody to care. teachers are supposed to provide experiences based on
the curricular objectives. before the implementation of the new crriculum
the student could hear some lectures(how blunder it may be), and study
something by heart. now teachers try to avoid these things. but what is
replaced by ? what experiences the students are actually getting?

v may have conducted studies in primary schools before 15 years. if anybody
dare to make a study in primary and high schools classes, the result will be
unbelievable, no doubt. do u know how the continuing evaluation in the holy
sslc examination is conducted in kerala. only making a study on the ce in
sslc will bring out the actual nonsenses going on in our schools.

what ever v say, or how loudly v say, the quality is very very... poor. *only
a movement can improve it*. the attitude of the stake holders are to be
changed. their accountability is to be fixed. proper monitoring is to be
done.

*but, who will bell the cat ?*
